Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning Conference (MACUL)

This is a phenomenal state-wide conference for K-12 educators who are interested in technology that draws over 1,000 attendees from around the region. A wide variety of sessions and workshops are offered (including several by featured presenters), student work is showcased in various events held in the Exhibit Hall, and the exhibits are definitely worth taking several hours to explore. American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages Conference (ACTFL)
November 20-22, 2015 in San Diego, CA
This is a national conference for foreign language educators that draws over 5,000 attendees each year. A diverse array of over 700 sessions are offered on a wide variety of topics, including assessment, classroom activities, instructional strategies, language-specific topics, program advocacy and articulation, presentations of research, and ways to use technology. The conference also boasts a gigantic exhibit hall, several keynote speakers, concerts, and other special events. Discounted rates are available for full time students and 1st and 2nd year teachers.
